Comments by Serena: George made a commercial for Martini in Italy. The whole campaign is made by several different spots, giving different ENDS to the first spot. In this first advert, George goes to a Party attended only by women and thinks his charm is enough to let him in. But, as the guest opens the door and sees George without any kind of present for her or for celebrating, closes the door and let him out. SLOGAN: "No Martini, no party" (this recalls last Martini campaign: "Martini, there's a party"). In the second spot George goes back at the lady's party, but this time he presents himself with a bottle and a lot of Martini brown boxes. It is supposed to have also other finals. This is the only one the article is talking about, saying that the whole campaign will go on until 2002, when George's contract with Martini will expire. Martini admits changing their type of testimonial (traditionally they used well-known and beautiful ladies) was due to a marketing reason: in fact 70% of the people buying their sparkling products are women!! AND THERE'S MORE.......... many shops will have "Martini's island" that are some temporary show panels with CLOONEY SILHOUETTES in real dimension and other gadgets.
Morena sent this photo. It was included if you bought a bottle of Martini
From the first commercial - thanks Teresa!
